In anticipation of the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens, we assisted in the ideation and execution of Rugby Night at AT&T Park (now Oracle Park), home of the San Francisco Giants Major League Baseball team and host venue for the subsequent World Cup. Complete with a rugby field built on a barge for pre-game touch rugby, American rugby legends swapping stories with Giants players, Giants-branded balls for each ticket holder, and a pre-game happy hour (this is rugby, after all) – it was a first-of-its-kind event in the USA.
